•#FACT : Wish all healers / therapist had a #magic-wand in their hands but instead it is in your hand. They are just the facilitator to help you heal yourself.
•#MYTH: Healers charge too much. Therapy is #Expensive.
•#FACT: Healers spend years and years to learn and practice healing/therapy before reaching to a level where they can help you. Almost all healing sessions needs to be customized for each person depending on the conditions, which comes with experience and that’s what they charge for.
•#MYTH : Therapy is not for me, I am #smart enough to solve it own my own.
•#FACT : We all have #blind-spots. A good therapist don’t tell you what to do but will #empower you by giving an experienced outside #perspective to help you gain insight into yourself to make better choices, informed decisions.
•#MYTH : Therapist asks about dark secrets.
•#FACT : No, they don’t. They just create a #safe #environment where you let go of all what is bothering you without feeling being judged. Many therapist prefer doing “content free” therapy without invading into your privacy and keep themselves free from all your stories.
•#MYTH : Emotional outbursts, setbacks show there is something wrong.
•#FACT : As a matter of fact hitting plateaus too early may be more worrying than setbacks and outbursts as they prepare and help you face life with confidence.
•#MYTH : All therapists want to talk about is my #parents and my #childhood.
•#FACT : The primary focus is on what you need to change to get the positive results you want. Therapy is not about blaming your parents or you or dwelling in your past though sometimes it helps in understanding the whys and hows.
